Why apple support is the most useless support and how amazon ruined everything
I purchased a macbook pro 15inch last year . After 10 months of use I had some issues with the keyboard and my “D” and “E” were not working properly. As it was under warranty I gave my laptop for repair to Iservices in Bangalore in phoenix mall . After 4 days the repair guy called me and said that “Sir we can’t repair your laptop” . It happened that there was another repair support request opened from some other country with same mac serial number as mine . And as per rules they can’t create another duplicate repair ticket . After seeing them hopeless . I called apple care for help . They took 10 days and still never had answer that where and why an another ticket was opened and why they are not able to close it. After 20 days apple calls me up to deposit my invoice copy as a proof of purchase. I quickly downloaded my invoice from amazon and sent the invoice .
Now amazon knocks me down . The invoice generated by amazon had wrong serial number . So apple rejected my appeal . I contacted amazon and amazon withing one day escalated my issue and made the seller send me correct copy of invoice .

Mean while I when I talked to apple different customer support . They were very rude with me . One said I don’t have common sense . Other was giving me lectures regarding that I should have never bought it from amazon and had bought from flipkart instead .

I had to bear them as I had wrong invoice copy . But then when I got a correct invoice copy they still rejected my claim . When I called back the apple support as now I had a proof , they started escaping . One said the call support is just for software so we are unable to do anything .
I could never get answer for these things :-
1) Apple proudly claims “global repair coverage” . Then why on earth your team could never contact another service center with ticket opened with my serial number from 25 days.
2) When I provided correct invoice later , I have submitted my laptop , I am even ready to send screen shots of the amazon’s mistake conversation . Why I am being rejected and no one is caring about the false ticket open in some random country.
3) “We only provide software support on apple care” These were one of the words from an apple support team member . Really ???? I did not expect this from apple
My overall concern is my laptop was worth of 1,65,0000 INR (2500$ approx). Before that I was an HP user which costed half of its price . But support is so awesome . Within 7 days HP people will be at your door step to fix your issue and help you out . But apple has so much of excuses to give me . Some said I should have “COMMON SENSE” , other said Flipkart is god , And the rest other just said “yeah its not our work”
Talking about loses I had to bear .
I traveled 3 time to Bangalore from vellore to make things fast . I spend daily 1 hours on call to explain things and get update just to listen we can’t help and all .
I have remote job . I am not working from past 25 days which means I don’t generate money as I am paid on hourly basis . And the golden part after few days my warranty will expire and this reminds of another call on which a girl from apple center was asking my why did you delay so much and gave your repair at last moment . I don’t know how she concluded that ? I gave my laptop for repair 25 days back as I found the defect . Yes she was the one who said I should use “common sense ” when I got angry on her for this point .
Conclusion
APPLE LAPTOPS ARE GREAT BUT SUPPORT IS REALLY SHITTY . I am losing money . Sitting jobless and has to deal one hour of bullshit daily from apple support team .
