Varda, I can understand your anger over his position on Israel. This is a topic I’ve spent some time discussing with my mother, and our difference boils down to trust — I actually do trust that his expressed bond with Israel is legitimate, because I trust him. I absolutely understand why anyone might NOT trust any politician. It makes me a little nervous too, but overall I want to see our country move away from intervention, and it would be hypocritical of me to expect that with respect to all countries but the one I hold dear. Israel has survived Obama, and it will survive Sanders.
