That makes sense. I was also under the impression you could buy Ether in New York via Gemini. I just made an account and am awaiting approval, so I have yet to try this. I’m currently in Williamsburg, BK, so I guess I will find out soon if I’ll have access. I’m mainly wanting to avoid the high fees of coinbase.
