Life Is Not Like Instagram: The Resistance of Change

I can so relate to this. I finally made a big career jump and getting there took a lot of effort to separate the internal naysayers and objections from the external ones. Once I did, I realized I wasn’t the one with the reservations — it was actually many of the people around me and the expectations we have as a society on what a successful career looks like. I’m so glad I tuned out those voices — two weeks in and I already know it was the best decision I could have made.
