NIKE MADE THE FOLKS #MADONLINE

CLAY TRAVIS SAW THIS AND JUMPED OUT OF HIS CHAIR TO CALL HIS BOY UNCLE TOM JASON WHITLOCK ABOUT IT

Nike signed Colin Kaepernick(well not signed, he was under contract with them and has endorsed their products for years now) to a deal, and made him one of the faces of their 30th Anniversary campaign of the “Just Do It” slogan.

Predictably, people are upset because when it comes to Colin Kaepernick because the words he said in August 2016 get lost due to symbols and the lack of understanding about, well anything.

I’m not gonna even talk about that because at this rate, I’m a broken recorder on it. Nobody listens or reads. That’s why we have an illiterate President at the moment.

Back to Nike. The Swoosh.

I hate to break this to you but — it has to be said here, especially here.

If you’re legit like Pete Carroll’s age (One, he’s 66. Two, I don’t know why I picked Uncle Pete but whatever) and you wear the $30 Air Monarchs and some generic Nike t-shirts that a child in Vietnam made while working 20 hour days (which is child labor but the swoosh swept that under the rug two decades ago), Nike doesn’t give a shit about you, b. It’s not the Kyrie’s? Not the Kobe’s? Or the Lebron’s? Not Air Max’s? Not even Converses? Nike doesn’t care about you, beloved.

So go ahead and burn up those dad shoes that YOU already bought, and go find another brand of dad shoes to buy. I hear JJ Watt has some Captain America Reebok's that the actor of Captain America wouldn’t even wear, but you can.

My entire mood

People are having breakdowns over this.

I have been cackling at the breakdowns of people really burning up the wackest Nike gear of all-time. At least burn up some Air Max 270s or something. Make it worth my wild so I can say “Damn, they hate black people so bad that they burned up these.” The funniest thing is the fact that people are going to “boycott” Nike, but are mad about Kaepernick’s initial protest.

BOYCOTTING IS A FORM OF PROTESTING.

I saw one person say that Nike shouldn’t have done this because it’s gonna lose them money. Fam, Nike backed Kobe Bryant when he was going through the sexual assault trial in 2004. Nike never left Tiger Woods after he was calling and begging women to delete his name off their phones because his ex-wife found out about his 1,000,000,000,000 mistresses.

All things considered, if you’re giving away or thinking about burning your Nike stuff because you’re mad at them backing a guy who’s main goal was to call attention to racial injustice practices in America, then that says a lot about your life. Besides, why burn something you bought?

Could just give it away to people in need. Like, I don’t know. The veterans, perhaps. Since the talk and terms of his protest somehow became about them and the police, why don’t you actually care.. about.. nevermind. That’s too easy to do (I’m not dissing veterans considering my late grandpa served, but I’m just saying so don’t try me).

Or, you can keep burning it and continue to post it on Social media because the boy needs the laugh.

Just do it. Literally.

It’s Shaun with a U. My aunt Pam started calling me Shaunny and it stuck. My homies call me Shonnus. The west raised me, the east made me a better person.
