3 things a Product Manager needs
Great products should solve real problems their users are facing and do so in a delightful way.
I believe there are 3 key ingredients that helps a product manager achieve this goal:
- Empathy
- Vision
- Insight
Empathy
Empathy involves understanding the goals and pain points of not just the users in the target markets, but members of the product development team and company executives.
Vision
Vision is not only building the right product, with the right features, at the right time, but planning the evolution of the product to grow in line with trends and technological advancements.
Insight
Insight means finding meaning in vast amounts of data that includes market and competitor analysis as well as measurements and testing results within the product.
