An Ode to the iPod Classic

I was just praising the virtues of my 160GB Classic to a friend last night, proudly pulling it from my pocket as I did so. It hasn’t been able to hold all my music for a few years now, but that bothers me far less than the overwhelming nature of streaming.
The iPod Classic’s the single best device I’ve ever had to play music, and I constantly worry about what happens when it doesn’t work anymore. My screen might’ve started dying this week, and I’m really fretting having to replace it (or god forbid, the whole thing).
