MVP

We have become the most dominant species on this planet
Does that startle you? Excite you? Anger you?
For me, it does nothing but question myself
For being the most dominant species on the planet, what have we done to help?
When you are the MVP on a team, you do the most to help win.
When you are the leader of a nation, you do the most to help succeed.
But as the most dominant species, have we done the most to help the planet as a whole?
Or are we too obsessed with our ego as being dominant that we have totally disregarded any other species and life form in a pursuit for us to stay dominant?
Let me give you my perspective.
For being the most dominant species, to help our planet, we burn nature.
We lock other species up to be shown at zoos
We inject and kill other species for our benefit
We fight amongst each other, killing hundreds of thousands of our own in search for more power
We neglect love, the single most powerful feeling and entity in this fucking world
And most of all,
we lose sight of life. money blinds us. power motivates us. We see not what the beauty of life may be, but more of the success we can achieve through the pursuit for power.
I wonder, if we go way back, when humans use to camp around fires and drink and sing
When there were no phones, drugs, cars and money,
When the best time was night in the woods with the right music, people, and experiences,
If we go back way then and think about life back then,
have we gone backwards, or forwards?
You already know my answer.
As leaders of this earth, we need to start helping and loving more
And killing less
Let go of greed, grasp love and spread it.
Meet people and love them for who they are.
Change this world guys, take it back to where we used to be. Become the MVP of this race.
It all starts with one person at a time.
Help those who need it, do more for others. Share it all.
Be the true MVP.
