This is a statement I often echo to my fellow Flint natives. Why? Because no one’s heard of Anderson, Indiana, or much about Tarrytown, New York, also abandoned GM towns. Flint may get a bad rap, but we got Presidential candidates coming here and its been a NYT op-ed four or five times now.
That matters.
