A Brief Information on Flush and First Flush of Darjeeling tea

Unlike popular beliefs ‘flush’ is actually a period when new leaves are seen on tea plants and are then harvested by a machine or hand. This however is decided depending on the type of tea that is produced. Usually at the onset of spring the tea plants are seen to grow new leaves which are harvested.
