There is no historical evidence to suggest that Jesus was “white” in the modern sense of the term. The concept of “whiteness” is a relatively recent invention.

There is no historical evidence to suggest that Jesus was “white” in the modern sense of the term.

The concept of “whiteness” is a relatively recent invention, and it has evolved over time to reflect changing social, cultural, and political ideologies.

The idea of a “white race” did not exist in the ancient world, and it is not possible to accurately determine the racial or ethnic identity of historical figures like Jesus based on modern notions of race.

Jesus was a Jew who lived in the area that is now Israel, and the people who lived in this region at the time were of a variety of backgrounds. It is plausibly believed that Jesus and his contemporaries would have looked similar to the modern-day Palestinian and Lebanese people, who are generally of Semitic and Mediterranean ancestry.

Disclaimer: “It is important to note that the physical appearance of Jesus and other historical figures cannot be definitively known, and it is not productive or meaningful to try to assign them a modern racial or ethnic identity.”
