Markiplier Is Starring & Directing In A Film Adaption of Horror Game Iron Lung.
Reported via Deadline, Markiplier is directing & starring in a film adaption of indie horror game Iron Lung. The film is already underway in Austin, Texas. The details for how it will be adapted aren’t yet presently known, but Markiplier will also be writing the script as well as self-financing the film.
The game Iron Lung was released by developer David Szymanski in March of 2022 and is an atmospheric horror game where players are locked inside a small submarine. While a short game the claustrophobia of being locked in a small submarine left a huge impact on those who played it, with one of them being Markiplier himself.
Shortly after the game’s launch Markiplier uploaded a Let’s Play of Iron Lung to his YouTube channel.
Markiplier will also be sharing the screen with Caroline Rose Kaplan from the film The Plot Against America. Besides self-financing, directing & starring in the film Markiplier will also be producing the film alongside Will Hyde and Jeff Guerrero.
Markiplier(real name Mark Edward Fischbach)started his YouTube channel back in March of 2012 and to date has a subscriber count of 34.7 Million subscribers and has released over 5.4 Thousand videos on YouTube.
As a fan of Markiplier I’m pretty excited to see his adaption of Iron Lung.
