We are spending a few days with our grand boys and I’m rereading Sarah McKenzie’s book Teaching from Rest.

She writes, “We recognize all the small moments throughout our day for what they are- the makings of a cathedral of timeless beauty, the planting of seeds that will bear fruit in their season.”

Parenting and grand parenting is full of small moments that seem so insignificant, but there is no doubt relationships of love are growing and God is molding them all to be what He created them to be.

I’m thankful to be witnessing it all~ what a gift when we stop to realize what we’re in the middle of.

Don’t take a single day for granted~ they all add up to our legacy.

Decide today what you’re living for.
