Howdoo for the Crypto masses
So here we go, Facebook has received some VERY unwanted attention. Facebook has said it now believes up to 87 million people’s data was improperly shared with the political consultancy Cambridge Analytica — many more than previously disclosed. This leads to say, what next?? Let me tell you whats next-Howdoo.
Howdoo is a revolutionary new messaging and social media platform that offers greater choice and control to users. Designed to encourage a more open and decentralized approach to mass social networking, it’s a platform that gives people full command over their personal data. It’s about incentivizing participation and contribution; allowing this value to flow freely across the network; enabling users to select for themselves the content they want to engage with; and inspiring a fairer, more community-driven form of moderation.
Not only are you able to control your own data and let’s be fair, data is king but you can get paid for the contributions you make. Is this Facebook version 2, I think this is more like Facebook version 5. They’re so many steps forward this will be one of those social media sites you will wonder how you managed to live life without.
Their whitepaper is not complicated unlike so many out there, it may be 55 pages but going through this reveals how simple it will be to use because the usability of a social media site is the key to whether the site will be accepted or be pushed to the side lines.
To be open, i’m not involved with this project but seeing the advantages that this has and will bring to the social scene is something I’ve not seen before.
