Consciously Speaking Interview: Key Points to Not Miss

Recently, Sheevaun Moran of Energetic Solutions interviewed with host Michael Neeley of Consciously Speaking. Here are some key takeaways from that interview. Listen to the full interview here.

Cut the Cord

Sheevaun spoke openly about the practice of “cutting the cord.” To cut the cord, she told Michael, is to “truly disconnect.” The failure to truly disconnect results in a person being sapped into someone else’s energy, changing the person’s own energy and diminishing his or her own power.

To cut the cord, an actual physical movement was discussed. To do, imagine that you have a large knife or samurai sword in your hand. Then, picture all of the cords that you have with yourself or others in the rest of the world. Then, make a large sweeping motion from the front of your face all the way down to your feet, and say, “Cut, cut, cut.” Repeat three times.

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

Another theme of the interview was the idea that sweating the small stuff can quickly drain you. And, according to Sheevaun, “everything is the small stuff.” Relax, and be surprised how good you’ll feel.

Know Your Own Value

One of the biggest key points of the article was to know your own value, and to understand that everything in the world is associated with a fee. When you recognize what your skills or services are worth and are comfortable charging for them, you have more opportunities for growth.
