Anushka Sharma, an Indian actress and producer who appears in Hindi films, was born on May 1, 1988. She has won a Filmfare Award among other accolades. She was one of the highest-paid actresses in India as of 2018 and has been listed in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 since 2012. Forbes Asia also included her in their 2018 list of the 30 Under 30. Sharma, who was reared in Bangalore and was born in Ayodhya, completed her first modelling job for Wendell Rodricks in 2007.

She eventually relocated to Mumbai to focus on her modelling profession full-time. Anushka made her acting debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), the highest-grossing romantic movie, opposite Shah Rukh Khan, and quickly gained notoriety for her leading roles in Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Sharma went on to get recognition for her performances as independent women in the dramas Sui Dhaaga, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and the criminal thriller NH10 (2015). (2018). Her highest-earning films were the sports drama Sultan (2016), PK (2014), and Sanju by Rajkumar Hirani (2018). NH10 and Paatal Lok are two of the movies and web series that Sharma has created as a co-founder of the production business Clean Slate Filmz (2020).

She has created her own women’s clothing line, Nush, and is an ambassador for a number of companies and goods. She also supports a number of charities and issues, such as animal rights and gender equality. Virat Kohli, a cricketer, and Sharma are married and have a daughter together.
