WALK THE TALK TO PARADISE.

The everlasting bounties of Allah is not meant for anyone in this world, Muslims especially. For this life and its riches, are prisons for the believers, and paradise for the unbelievers. Life is laced with several hurdles, trials and tribulations. Sweat upon sweat, at times the result is sweet, most times one would reap no gain from one's consistent effort, except little.

No matter the condition, a believer is meant to give thanks to Allah, for after every hardship, there's ease. The ease might not come too soon, it might come on the point of death and continue till the everlasting day of resurrection.

Allah's promises to those who believe in His Divine messages and act according to His will are mind-blowing. And what are His promises? He promised what no eyes has ever seen, what no ear has ever heard, and what has never crossed the thoughts of hearts. He promised JANNAH! (Paradise).

The glad tidings of Paradise makes the heart of a believer yearn for it the more. Giving the details of the things therein, one will go on and on and never exhaust them. But it is sufficient to give example(s).
Do you know that in paradise, there is a tree in which if a trained rider travels in its shade, he'll never reach its end for a hundred years?

Sahl b. Sa’d reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

In Paradise, there is a tree under the shadow of which a rider can travel for a hundred years without covering (the distance) completely. This hadith has also been transmitted on the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri that Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) is reported to have said: In Paradise, there is a tree under the shadow of which a rider of a fine and swift-footed horse would travel for a hundred years without covering the distance completely. There would be the pleasure of Allah for the inmates of Paradise and He would never be annoyed with them. (Sahih Muslim, 2827)

Now imagine how beautiful the tree would be, what nature of leaves would it harbour, what are the branches like, what kind of fruit does it bear? Only Allah knows. Such are the unimaginable glad tidings in paradise.

To end with, Allah gave us a glimpse into paradise in His glorious word as thus:

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?

-Sura Muhammad, Ayah 15.

Talking about Paradise and hoping to be favoured with it is not enough, one should walk the talk; enjoin people to do that which is permissible and forbid them from evil acts. May Allah grant us all goodness, forgive our shortcomings and make Paradise our eternal abode.
