This time, pilgrims from five countries have decided to overstay in Makkah after the pilgrimage only for visiting Jeddah, Taif, and other nearby cities. Muslims believe in that mainly Islamic building stand for five pillars in which one is Hajj. Every one of us wants to perform it at any reason and cost. I am also one of these persons who have same wished.

What is the real meaning of Hajj?

Hajj means to go Makkah for performing mandatory rituals in selected five days of Dhul Hijjah (last month of Islamic lunar year). The literal meaning of the word Hajj is heading to a place for the sake of visiting (Wikipedia-Encyclopedia).

To get more information about what is Hajj?

My friend told me that five countries of pilgrims opted to stay put in Makkah after Hajj (2019) and he is one these pilgrims. He told me that they belong to Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, India, and Indonesia, and my friend belongs to Pakistan.

I think that they have taken the right decision because 10 or 15 days staying there are not enough to visit all holy sites. I have not performed Hajj yet but my friend who has completed it, shared his experience with me in these words that there is not showing pilgrim who wants to leave the holy site even after staying of three to four weeks.

After the modification of visa rules, Saudi Arabia Hajj and Umrah Ministry have allowed pilgrims to visit landmark areas and different regions which are surrounding the two holy cities (Makkah and Madina).

I read about the modification in an article- (Can I travel Several Cities of Saudi Arabia with Umrah Visa)

He also said to me that most pilgrims had left the KSA on 15 Muharram (first Islamic month), but some pilgrims have stayed for shopping there for relatives and friends. While I am staying here only for traveling to all holy places where our beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) visited during his time.

My friend told me that he had met there a person whose name was Barkat Amin and he is one of these from five countries. Amin was saying to pilgrims that it is an excellent opportunity for us, to earn more and more rewards by performing various rituals here.

There are many sources to earn more and more rewards which we will never get anywhere in the world.

I had listened to a hadith in Friday sermon, Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) stated:

Do not prepare yourself for a journey except to 3 Mosques; Masjid al-Haram, the Masjid al-Aqsa, and my Mosque.”

(Sahi Bukhari)

1- Performing one prayer in Masjid al Haram= 100,000 prayers (in terms of only rewards)

2- … in Masjid al Nabawi= 1000 prayers (in…rewards)

3-Masjid al Aqsa= 500 prayers (…)

I have never traveled to Asian countries, and therefore I do not have any idea that now why people prefer to stay in Saudi Arabia just for shopping. I think that we can get all things where we live and that is also true to some extent.

We should only realize that we are in the right place where Islamic religion had started in the world and where our Messenger (PBUH) had passed his life. How many battles have quarreled for Islam between Muslims and protesters (against Islam)? It is not described in words because we have no words to explain such feelings.

For getting the most beautiful places to visit in Makkah.
