As a former ScaleUp CEO and Growth Stage Operating Partner, I searched for resources that would help me achieve greater leverage of the most scarce resource I had, my time.

Faster, better, more ... did I mention I was a ScaleUp Addict?

I wanted to enable those I worked with to make decisions --quickly and often.

After years of working with hundreds of Growth Stage Boards, CEOs and CSuite Teams, I was a bit frustrated having to 'coach' the same basic topics over and over again. Often in a different sequences, and not everything to each company. I searched for anyting to help my team learn while doing.

What I found was...very little. Frustrating.

The ScaleUp Stage of growth faces a unique set of challenges, during a relatively short period in the life of a company. There is very little informaiton in a format that will help, at the exact time you need it.

There is an abundance of information for the startup phase thanks to all the incubators and even more on the enterprise challenges (lucaritve to those that sell to that space) and very little in between. Why you might ask?

1. Those that are good at ScaleUp thrive on the outcome, the mentoring and the doing - not the writing about it. Myself included.

Ask me a question and I will teach you the concept quickly so you can make the decision, defend and make another one similar when it comes up. Ask me to create training for the masses and you will recieve an auto generated, nicely worded 'no' .

2. Unknown TAM, combined with unaligned incentives to those that would create and sell into the space. (Scaleup needs speed and in/ out as fast as possible). If this doesn't make sense to you, google why a big TAM matters for your company.
