We believe that the most proven method for changing the world is through education. We aim to promote knowledge sharing, to foster diversity in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, and to nurture the next generation of transformative leaders who are realizing the full economic and social potential of blockchain technology.
As your WAX guild candidate, our community benefit project will promote diversity in blockchain by funding the shEOS Foundation & Scholarship Program. A percentage of our block rewards will be designated to sponsor technology scholarships for girls and young women in marginalized 2nd and 3rd world countries. We have committed a percentage of our revenue to date to funding a cohort of young scholars in the Philippines for the 2019–2020 school year, with Kingsland University as our curriculum partner. The addition of WAX guild rewards will enable us to deepen our impact by funding larger cohorts of scholars in countries around the world, to support economic opportunities for women and girls through tech education.

Transparency and Accountability:
We, shEOS, own 100% of our company. None of us own more than 10% and all of the founders are listed on sheos.org. We are self-funded and have complete control over the direction of our business. The beauty of being independently owned is that we have not been and will not be subject to any outside influences that could alter our values. We believe in radical transparency, and will always be transparent with the WAX community with all things, including our earnings gained as a WAX Guild candidate and our distributions. We honor our duties and obligations around our technology. We, shEOS, believe that DPOS blockchain has the potential to create a new world and ecosystems; socially, economically and technically, and we are committed to instill, maintain, adhere and progress to them.

Our commitment to security is deep and multi-layered:
- We are committed to flawless stewardship of all consensus nodes
- We encourage producer nodes in each network to work closely together to insure 24/7 communication. For EOS we co-created the Block Producer Emergency Response System to guide block producers in case of crisis;
- We believe user security is paramount, and thus created a “Definitive Guide to Online Personal Security” suitable for technology veterans and newcomers alike to safeguard their identity and assets.
