I’ve read little about ladies that have focus to achieve goals and didn’t compete with guys in the game.

Most ladies restrict them selves from having a goal, becoming a world class, competing with guys or becoming rich in an extent. Life is very little but the world has resources available mostly for ladies, we all know ladies get what they want easily than guys not because gender is not equal, but for the reason most guys value women and pay respect to ladies that have the guts to attempt in getting what they want which makes it easy for them.

COCO CHANEL once said

“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

This piece of advice from one of the world’s most famous fashion designers (among other tidbits) is as inspirational today as it was when she launched her first perfume in the 1920s.

Recently, when groundbreaking Cosmopolitan magazine editor Helen Gurley Brown passed away at age 90, it was clear her legacy would live on in her many pieces of printed advice. Among her controversial admonitions?

“Marriage is insurance for the worst years of your life. Save the ‘best’ for when you're single.”

While Chanel and Brown were pioneering career women in their day, now there’s no shortage of inspirational females at the top of their fields—and there’s plenty they can teach us. Whether they’ve spent years climbing the corporate ladder, helming a major fashion house or magazine, or building a billion-dollar brand, these powerful women learned the ropes of their chosen profession, raised families, and mastered the art of balance.

Two paths you can look into are:

  • Entrepreneurship and
  • Tech development Community

But I will only discuss about entrepreneurship today, and later write about tech dev community.

As an entrepreneur you get to attend lot of meetups organized by other entrepreneurs, that way you crave, network, associate and build a business.

Starting and growing a successful business is no easy feat, no matter what your gender. The entrepreneurial field is riddled with competition, and as the leader of your own business, the stakes are high. All entrepreneurs face obstacles throughout the course of a business’s growth, but there are specific challenges that women starting or running their own business face.

Building your startup into a multi-million-dollar business will teach you a lot about succeeding in the startup world. As an entrepreneure you need to understand the rules of the startup world and how their gender both helps and hurts them.

Here in Bauchi north-eastern Nigeria, Uplift Hub is the perfect place you can go to attend entrepreneurship seminars and tech community meetups that happens almost every weekend.

Why do you have to explore those two paths?

Because you want to pick something new and all you have to-do is to fall in love with one of those or take two at a time is not too much “to build and have entrepreneurship skill to market your startup”.
