Interview Summary

As a part of the task #connect given by the WITx program, all participants were asked to write a review on the interview conducted by the WIT Cohort 1 participants. So this is about the interview.
I selected the interview conducted by Elsa Maria Goerge who is a Cohort 1 participant. She interviewed Mehul Smriti. Mehul Smriti is a 2017 Student of Vision ABIE winner. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Computational Science at Harvard. She graduated from Manipal University in 2016 with a degree in Computer Science.
Mehul Smriti worked on the different domain which made her stand out in all achievements like empowering women. She also worked on the YouTube channel which revolved on the same. She gave coding a different aspect. She also said about the challenges faced by the women in the tech field.
From the interview, it is crystal clear that Elsa had done a very good research about Mehul Smriti. It seemed like Elsa was so excited to get something from Mehul Smriti. Elsa asked about how she does all things at a time. The response was also inspiring. Mehul Smriti said about the importance of fitting of time in both studies and other activities.
Asking about a day at Harvard made the interview more friendly even though the professionalism was maintained. All sort of things like asking about Mehul Smriti’s project, working domain made the interview more interesting. I really liked the idea about emotional intelligence system. Giving the right sense about the current scenario Mehul Smriti spoke out a lot of things that will definitely help the girls who have a firm aspiration. She also made me inspired.
The way Elsa conducted the interview made me more excited to stay on the page. Hope Elsa had taken maximum resources from Mehul Smriti. In short, the interview was interesting and inspiring.
