Thank you, Robert. It’s not as important to me that we vote for the same candidate as much as that we exercise our right to vote for the candidate we actually want to vote for and aren’t forced to vote for someone we don’t support because the out of control political machinery is stacking the deck on both sides.

I can’t help but believe if Citizens United was abolished and big money were kept out of politics, our political system would be much healthier.

Also, I’m not much of a nationalist as I believe that ardent nationalism contributes to war and conflict, especially in our increasingly global society and economy.

While I never take my good fortune to be born in this country for granted, and am incredibly grateful to the vets who were willing to lay down their lives for my relatives in concentration camps during World War II, I want the best for the entire world, and I bet you do, too.
