Gail Boenning

Oh my gosh, girl! Get some of that nonsense out of here!

First of all, life is what we write about; without it, all the fancy words in the world would be for naught. Only you can decide the right balance for you, but personally I think you’re doing a heckuva job churning out great stuff.

Second, I’m afraid it is true that we Wisconsinites are reserved — something about our German/Scandinavian culture? — everywhere but Packers games. :-) But, I don’t think that makes you plain or vanilla. My advice, which I think you’re already doing, is to let it all out through your fiction. Great “fiction” has a whole lot of reality at its heart, anyway.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
