Wow — so poignant (and so different than your other stuff!). I don’t know how I’d take his news…so many decades to revise, (perhaps) so many lost moments and regrets.

I wrote a novel set in a nursing home as my master’s thesis…my plan is to give it a major edit, but my current views are so different from 20-some years ago — more, I think, in alignment with what you have here. You inspire me and give me a lot to think about.
