Pomodore Technique

I was having some real issues recently in revising my whole mechanical engineering syllabus because I could not get the time out for it. Although I was planning to revise just the core subjects of my degree but as I have mentioned, I was unable to set priority for it.

Just a few days ago, I came across Pomodore technique through Amal academy, which is to avoid the distractions like mobile, whatsapp, facebook, e-mails etc. for just 25 minutes and spending these 25 minutes in doing that very activity and spending the life of immersion for the required purpose just for 25 minutes. I was planning to perform this activity from a long time and then I decided to follow this pomodore technique in order to get the task done. I managed my time and switched off my phone, logged out from facebook, whatsapp, twitter etc and shut down the laptop. I locked the door of my room and started following the tips and focused on the learning from one of my subject related book.

I was able to read the cores of 1 whole subject in one day. It was a great learning for me and I am planning to repeat this exercise for more times so that I can avoid being lazy. Laziness is also not a different word it is just that we can’t set the priorities in order to complete the task. We are having some second or third priority on the top due to which we consider ourselves lazy.
