I’m going to talk on procrastination.
Everyone procrastinates, so I’m one of them. I am chronically procrastinator in home tasks. I always want to overcome it, but Alas.
Here we know that what is procrastination?
Procrastination is to put off doing something out of casual carelessness or common laziness. It often needlessly postpones or delay events or objects in our life Which can effect others.

While procrastination is a very natural fault we all share, if it gets out of hands it can get quite troublesome. Excessive procrastination can disrupt our life and cause to lose control of our schedules and deadlines. So when the procrastination gets out of hands, we need to get back our control on things.
I used some tips from the last session that were discussed and some techniques that were used last week in our PWs, to overcome my procrastination this week.
I used the tips of productivity.
- Use the lists to plan ahead
- Estimate time and add deadlines
- Prioritizing and organising your task lists
- Reduce distraction
- Fighting procrastination with pomodoro
- Identifying your most productive time.
Create a To-Do list
Making a to do list simple. I organize everything that i need in the immediate future in an order that make sense. Due to this technique my workload seems much more manageable instead of any trouble, because I’ve know that i have a guide to help me out to get through the work.

There is no difference in my daily routine or weekly routine, once i made this list it helps me throughout the way.
I also used some techniques other than those whose mentioned above.
Do one thing at a time
The cold truth is that multitasking is a myth. We humans can truely devote our minds to one task at a time. I’ve always did this that jump from one thing to another without completing the first one. Which is very bad. So i prioritize my work according to their urgency and importance and i decide that i work on a single untill it’s done.

Remove distraction
Removing all distractions seems easy at first but it takes some real consideration to strip out all the little ways in that make it easier.
I take note the ways which are attention wanders like Instagram and WhatsApp.
Also working at home is a huge distraction, because there are too many games, books or even kids around me. So i single out these distractions and eliminate them from my workplace. And I stayed in my work zone and use headphones while watching videos.
I used these three tips to overcome my procrastination. And i will follow these tips throughout my life.
