Living the Values: My Journey of Growth and Support at Zuper

Can’t believe it’s been almost 918 days since I joined Zuper! Life’s journey has its highs and lows, but this adventure has been incredibly meaningful, insightful, and downright fun!

I’m writing this article to share my gratitude and experience and to encourage others to join this amazing organization. Fair warning, it’s a long read, but if you’re considering joining Zuper, keep scrolling!

Here are six valuable life lessons I’ve learned while working here (in no particular order of importance)

1. Be a human with empathy, integrity, and humility

One of the biggest life lessons I learned while working at Zuper is the importance of building a safe and supportive work culture. At Zuper, we don’t just work together, we also care for each other.

It’s not just about getting the job done but also about making sure that everyone is doing well — physically, mentally, and emotionally!

We create an environment where people feel comfortable to open up and share their struggles, knowing that they will be met with empathy and support.

It’s not just about being colleagues, it’s about building relationships that are open, honest, and supportive.

Because with a support system by our side, we can achieve more together!

2. Strive for excellence

At Zuper, we say no to mediocrity and strive for excellence. Excellence is the cornerstone of Zuper’s unstoppable momentum and it’s deeply ingrained in our company culture.

Whether it’s delivering exceptional customer service or rolling out killer product features, my fellow Zuperhumans always push for excellence. This mindset not only ensures the quality of work but also drives continuous improvement and innovation.

3. Drive exceptional results

5. Have a growth mindset

We believe in the power of a growth mindset and the importance of progress over perfection!

We know that the fastest way to achieve greatness is through small but mighty incremental changes, and that’s why we’re not afraid to make mistakes along the way.

Our Zuperhumans are encouraged to learn from their failures and mistakes, using them as opportunities to grow and improve. In this way, Zuper helps create an environment where everyone feels empowered to take risks, try new things, and develop both professionally and personally.

6. Keep sharing

At Zuper, we’re all about sharing — not just our successes but also our failures, best practices, and life lessons. We recognize the value of knowledge and experience and encourage our Zuperhumans to share them openly.

By doing so, we create a culture of collaboration that empowers employees to feel at home, foster a culture of trust, and drive impact for customers.

We know it can be tough to share, but vulnerability leads to growth and innovation!

Bonus: The Not-So-Fun Part

Working at Zuper can be both tough and not-so-fun at times.

How, you ask?

Well, everything from the amazing people to the culture and policies at Zuper is fantastic.

But working with such skilled folks can make you feel inadequate and develop impostor syndrome.

Comparing your work with your colleagues’ accomplishments can be a real downer. It’s like seeing your friends post about their epic vacation while you’re stuck at a family reunion.
