DeepOnion is a well known privacy coin and aims amongst other things, to be the cryptocurrency of choice for those who value their anonymity.

We are now in Week 39 of the 40 weeks of #airdrops and things are looking great. Airdrops are an alternative method of coin distribution to #ICO’s which are popular with many other projects. Remember to take part in the final two airdrops you must post five times on the DeepOnion community forum and maintain a $Onion balance of at least 50 Onions.

With so many people focused on the final two weeks of airdrops, we need to remember that one of the amazing new features that is coming shortly is VoteCentral. Despite researching many different coins, I have yet to come across one with a feature such as this. I guess this fits in with the whole idea of community and involvement that DeepOnion is famed for. I believe that VoteCentral is in the final stages of testing and tweaking.

In order to be involved in VoteCentral and of course, to be able to suggest ideas and to vote, you must hold a minimum of 50 $Onions in your wallet. Of course the more Onions you have, the greater the weighting that will be applied to your vote. It’s not quite as simple as 100 Onions, means double the vote weight of someone with just 50. Things are much fairer than this over at DeepOnion. Get on over to the main forum to find out the nitty gritty details. https://deeponion.org/community There are pages and pages of information and discussion coving the in’s and out’s of voting weighting. This article is really to just introduce the casual reader to this amazing new feature.

In the above screenshot, we wan see some examples of the proposals in VoteCentral and how they might look in the finished product. Voting is simple, just hit the thumbs up or down buttons to vote. Of course, you should always read the full details of the proposals before voting. This can simply be done, by clicking on the title and the full explanation of the proposal will be shown. The colour will change depending on the number of votes that have been cast.

Here we have an example of the domination tasks. Proving you have completed the task is simple: the instructions are right there. Once you have completed the tasks you will become eligible for the new improved DeepPoints. As you can see, the user interface is clean and easy to follow.

In the third and final screenshot, we can see how the VoteCentral members can keep track of their DeepPoints. DeepPoints will be awarded for making proposals, voting and completion of domination tasks. For those whose whom English is not their mother language, will be able to complete tasks in a variety of other languages: Chinese and Spanish spring to mind.

Hopefully these screenshots of VoteCentral have got you interested in what is to come after Week 40 and the airdrops are completed. Remember, this is not everything, more exchanges will be listing DeepOnion shortly and many other features are in the works. Stay tuned. DeepOnion the number one #privacycoin maintaining your #anonymity using the #TORnetwork, Meek and #OBFS4 integration.

Last but not least, don’t forget to download the latest wallet from the website and only use the official DeepOnion wallet.
