There are a lot of Bluetooth Communicators for Motorcycle helmets out there. But for Sport-Riders there are only two real options available right now.

Have no sound in your helmet and no distraction while going fast or get a Sena SMH10R. This unit is small. Very small. It is roughly the size of your thumb (unless you have a very untypical thumb ;) )

This little size is achieved by separating the controller from the battery. The later has to be installed at the back of the helmet.

Now enough of the kudos to senna and to the real topic how to get it really well integrated with a wonderful Shoei RF-1200.

You can see the small unit blending in very well with the design of the Helmet.

Closeup of the unit. To hide the cable so nicely you need to make a small cut of the width of that cable into the neck-roles plastic.

The unit sits very flush and is glued to the helmet with some 3M double-sided tape that comes with the communicator.

The Battery goes to the back and is sitting on Velcro to easily be able to remove it.

Different view to show how large / small the battery is.

The inside of the helmet. You can see to the right the small microphone with one cable running under the cheek-pad. The speakers are under the original foam that covers that area. Just gently remove that foam pad from the glued part that fills out the speaker pocket and you can re-use the parts. Hide all the cables under the left neck-role and you are done.
