My goodness. I can’t even begin to imagine…wtf?! Actually, I can. As a non-skinny Asian (we’re rare, apparently) some family members have said similar things to me. One parent in particular. And then if I don’t eat, I get accused of being rude. Gah!

All that aside, there are some really important lessons you call out here. This one resonated with me the most:

“…remember that we’re here to look out for one another.”
