User Experience — Menus and Screens

Featured is a rough draft sketch of the Menus and Screens in Ship Rogue-Like. Throughout the game users will encounter these menus as a means of navigation, each screen serves an important purpose. The main menu screen features options to start or quit game, pick your ship and access game settings.

The Map, allows users to choose which galaxy to explore for during their mission. Furthermore, in the main game screen, where the action takes place, users can view their oxygen, metal and power levels at the top and their proximity to other ships, their own speed and their Hull status at the bottom.

The inventory screen allows you to harvest and keep track of your materials and you can continue to access it throughout the game. Lastly, the AI configurations screen gives the user an opportunity to keep track of each drones and observe their learning behaviour and pattern.
