Comcast is a corporate bully and their customer service is horrible, but here in the Boston area they actually do deliver technically. Perhaps that’s because they have competition in many cities and towns, from either FIOS or RCN.

But then, I don’t rent a cable modem from them. Why would I, when it takes less than a year to get back the cost of buying a good one?
