Where should I start from?
When I introduce myself, I proudly(read boastfully) say, “I lead a team of 10 very talented and diverse young people.” expecting people to ask me more about who these people are. Against my persistent effort to bring them up, people rather like to rant about the events not even remotely related or clothes that make them look fat or thin(which disinterest me immensely).
So I decided today I will write about my team. The diverse set of people who keep me on my toes and push me to do more everyday.
To introduce them as a team, first word that comes to me is talented. second adjective that I like to associate my team is with enthusiasm. Despite being only an year older to most of them, it seems that I am their guardian and their queries and messages about humours and extremely digressed from work make my every morning pensive. My usual expressions “Oh god! now what?” or “This kid, such a cutie” or “Bro, what an idea, now go execute it, please”.
So here I writing about them, at very odd hours, very soon I will check my phone and there will be a text asking me something or the other, which will make me search links or bring me a smile, wide enough to start my day.
Siddharth, popularly known as Sid. He is 20 years old, a very intelligent and smart Commuter Science Engineer in making. He aspires to become a successful web designer. Fun, confused and very funny. Sid takes all technical challenges as personal offense, extremely humble and borderline paranoid as much as I am about design. He loves Serif and abhors pixelated images. He is perhaps the oldest member of my team and has seen me grow as an individual. More than anything he is a younger brother, a confidant and extremely well versed with my temperament. Loves eating double cheese margarita with cheese base and has being broke as his ideal state. definitely someone to look upto and to call to rescue when in problem.
I am using this platform to thank you for all that you have given me, criticism, affection and your belief in me, we have a long way to go so yeah this is also an attempt to flatter you to do more.
Natasha, aka Nats and BT. 20 years old Nats is a philosophy student of (in her words) the very challenging and depressing Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Natasha is a Harry Potter cult follower and has a flair for writing. She is one of the most insprining person who has unending patience and dedication for learning, her (successful) stint in communications despite being not so well versed with techology (only during the initial stages) made me internalise her attitude of learning.
Contrary to popular notion, Nats for me always have been a GT (Good Trip) taking charge of team dynamics driving team performance and connecting with people have been her strength.
I very strongly believe, Natasha is one of the most hardworking, fun loving and understanding person, my little experience in life has taught me to value such people more than anything.
