I think we all struggle with things when we ‘bigdeal-ofy' things. There are some people who work well under pressure and when they do treat it as a big deal, yeah..but in general I’ve seen that pressure, external or self-imposed, is the enemy of creativity.. you just look to finish the thing/stay in your comfort zone/do the thing basing it heavily on what people might like/..conform..conformity is the worst and you tend to conform when under pressure.
While you can’t help external pressure much — it takes practice to still deal with it without affecting your creativity..when you’re an independent blogger, or any such artist for that matter, free from external pressure, staying chill about your work helps a great deal. You just need to think about what you’re trying to say, to get the message across, not thinking of the words that you’re using, structure, etc.,..you then go back and edit, improve,.. I get stuck when I get caught up trying to use the right words, trying to structure, while I’m writing stuff the first time itself.. And then it’s discouraging…letting thoughts flow in words, that’s important..it’s enough if you understand what you’re writing…shouldn’t clutter your mind..let your imagination be, let words flow…can get back to it later to improvise …
