Tooth Extraction pain — Many people experience some level of discomfort after having a tooth extracted. This is normal and usually goes away within a few days. However, there are a few things you can do at home to help speed up the healing process and get relief from the pain.

Home remedies for tooth extraction pain relief

  1. Warm water and tea — Pour warm water into a cup and add either tea or herbal tincture. Drink slowly,15 minutes before the procedure is scheduled to begin.
  2. Ginger — Add 1 inch of fresh gingerroot, peeled and chopped, to a litre of boiling water. Steep for 10 minutes then cool prior to use as a toothache reliever.
  3. Garlic cloves — Crush two garlic cloves with your thumb and rub them on your gums after drinking equal parts white vinegar (5–6 teaspoons) mixed with 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar . This will help to relieve tooth pain.
  4. Ice — Add a few pieces of ice to the mouth before the procedure begins in order to reduce inflammation
