Destination Crenshaw is a community group who focuses on Black excellence, building those up in the Black community and highlighting Black businesses. The community group recently rolled out a Destination Crenshaw Thrive experience that will give back economic renewal in the community. The experience will focus on a 1.3 mile-long arts and cultural place that will celebrate the culture and arts surrounding the Black community. The community will give back by offering help with finding grants and necessary tools needed to help provide assistance to Black-owned businesses.

During the pandemic so many small Black-owned business failed because they didn't have the necessary tools needed to sustain a business in this economic crisis. While building the cultural corridor, Destination Crenshaw will also provide job training to those in the community to keep people in the community employed.

I think this is an effective social media campaign because it directly connects with its community on its social platforms. While they are building DC Thrive, this mile-long they are giving those in their community jobs to help with the project. That screams volumes to be able to create something for the community and being able to give jobs to those to help those in the community.

This type of social media campaign can work effectively in the San Fernando Valley because communities in the valley can possibly build something like a cultural corridor like Destination Crenshaw Thrive where they can highlight arts and small business in their community. I am sure every community can use a campaign like this to help those with resources they aren't aware of. Every community has something special about them and all it takes is a small group pf creatives to bring people together to create it.
