technique is a single material that allow for extreme geometries. The Yokohama International Passenger Terminal was designed by Foreign Office Architects in 1995. They participated in the architectural competition of terminal, which is the country’s largest international competition to date, and they won and the public opening of the terminal occurred in 2002. As we can see in Yokohama International Passenger Terminal, it was made from different types of structures and it was changed in space, materials and movement. I chose Opera House, which looks like similar and contains the same shapes, movement and curves. In my five different models and final model, I used some elements from FOA’ design. For example, I used some triangular shapes and parallel lines to create my modal and increase the hierarchical structure. In my final model, I focus on the shape that FOA used and the change of hierarchical. Two same triangles was put together that I want to make unique curve for my final model. In addition, I changed the materials into thicker paper and made the model into two levels. Also, I tried to use different sizes of triangle to represent movement and rhythm.
