I doubt about this, but I’m eager to see the details.

I doubt it because raytracing is not a difficult to compute but easy to verify problem, not the kind of problems that are ideal to solve with a blockchain.

The similar project golem uses a reputation system to work around this, which I don’t think is a solid solution.

Data (scene) partition for ray tracing is also difficult, transferring large scene data across the internet and duplicating them on people’s machines are also inefficient.
