Outdoor Session with #Amalfamily

Last Monday we had our final outdoor session. We decided to go and explore Islamabad together. Everyone was told to meet up at 4 am. Some were late but we managed to start our journey early. I was extremely excited and was looking forward to a memorable day. We had some activities too…

Our First stop was savor foods Islamabad because everyone was hungry. After that we went to see the Pakistan Monument. It was beautiful and we enjoyed a lot there. We walked around and wanted to visit the museum next to it. But unfortunately it was closed.

After that we went to Shah Faisal Mosque, Islamabad and offered our Zohr prayer there. The experience was Spiritually elating and soothing. We spent some time there and left for the next destination.

Then we went to the Lake view park alongside Rawal Lake and spent most of the time there. Some fellows enjoyed horse riding. I played badminton with some of my fellows. Then we all went for boating. And it was one hell of an experience. Some were scared, some were excited, some were nervous. But all of us did it together and many of the fellows faced their fear.

Our next stop was Daman-e-Koh Which is a viewing point and hill top garden north of Islamabad and located in the middle of the Margalla hills. Its name is a conjunction of two Persian words, which together means foot hills. It is about 2400ft from sea level and almost 500ft from the city of Islamabad. The view from the top was….. Breathtaking!

It was a great day overall. Brought back a bucket of memories with me. That will remain Fresh in my mind always. What I learned from the tour in general was that how important it is…

To be positive.

To be Kind.

To live in the moment and enjoy it.

To work in a team and help everyone.

And I am gonna keep these lessons with me always!
