Buying your own stocks

If you’ve ever done 1:1 coaching with me, you have surely heard me talking about this. “Buy your own stocks”

You know how the stock markets works, right? There are different companies trading, buyers and sellers. Stocks are sold and stocks are bought continuously. It’s the same in life.

All of us are our own company. When we give power away, when we allow others to step on our boundaries, when we get upset about someone… we are selling our own stocks, we are giving our power away.

We also sell stocks when we say “yes” when we want to say “no”.

We sell stocks when we invest more in someone else’s projects or visions than in our own ones.

We sell stocks when we live our lives the way others think we should… stepping on our own intuitive voice.

The truth is that, if you are not buying your own stocks, you are selling them. There are no lukewarm waters here. No one is going to buy them for you, everyone is too busy thinking what they can get for their benefit. It’s not selfishness, it’s simply being human.

Next time you are about to agree on something, just stop for a second and ask yourself:

Am I selling or am I buying?

It will make a difference.
