How To Become Super Productive In Only 2 Not-So-Simple Steps

And this is how it goes:

  1. Be happy.

The connection between happiness and productivity is not linear. Happiness and sadness to productivity are like warp-dive and crawling to traveling. The prevailing notion is that you can’t do much about it, but it’s not true: it’s about acquiring the right thinking habits. It can be done.

2. No Internet until 8 pm.

Here you need to strongly guard against the ‘Real-Time Fallacy’: The strong feeling that what you are reading is important only because it came out now. It does include you mobile phone, emails, Twitter, toilet breaks, and Whatsapp. The only two exceptions are that you can check the news briefly upon returning from lunch and you can read anything from the past (like an article you saved from last night). You’ll be amazed how much stuff you thought interesting looks like a total waste of time the next day.

Once you’ll start following these 2 steps, step 2 will start interfering with step 1 (you’ll become miserable because of your Internet addiction). So hold on until you’ll start feeling better.

I wish you a productive & happy life!
