World famous stand-up comedian Martin Davis is back in South Africa after a brief tour of the U.K.
C.T.C.C. is excited to welcome back on of their regular comperes! Martin Davis has been a regular host at the prestigious club for over five years, and he has a firm fan base in South Africa. Boasting an established career internationally, including Dubai, Jakarta, Singapore, Bali, Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin and Dublin, Martin Davis proudly calls Cape Town his home and travels around South Africa regularly.

Davis is a Sea Point resident whose shows contain many hilarious commentaries on our varied and entertaining local cultures. Famous for his personal interactions with the crowd, and identifying with members of the audience, only the brave (or uninformed!) opt for front row tickets when
Martin Davis’s whirlwind effect hits the stage. Davis is a striking and noticeable character on or off stage. Clearly at home in the spotlight, he expertly wins the crowd over during his appearances. Martin Davis partners with the Cape Town Club regularly. Features on their “Night of Headliners” (Friday, 17 November) & has represented the club on Two Oceans Radio, The Espresso Show and other Cape Town news sources.
(You may also remember Davis from his infamous & undoubtable comically appearance in a series of “Cool as Ice” South African Castle Lite television adverts from 2012. Davis played the “uncool” fully clad in purple suede(!!) lead singer, on the flip side of a stage comparison to American Rap Sensation M.O.P.)

The Newcomer on the Cape Town Comedy scene, providing quality regular events throughout Cape Town are the fantastic “Fork & Comedy” crew. They are hosting the hilarious Rob van Vuuren & Troy Tesla at The Fireman’s Arms Tuesday, 14 November
#3 The Mash Tun Wednesday Night Comedy,
