Remembering Salman Shah

Shahriar Chowdhury Imon, who went by the screen name Salman Shah, changed the typical image of a Bangladeshi film actor. With Sohanur Rahman Sohan’s 1993 film “Keyamat Theke Keyamat” (a remake of the 1988 Bollywood flick “Qayamat se Qayamat Tak”).

Salman was born in Sylhet, on September 19, 1971. He was the most iconic actor in bangladeshi film industry. In his film career he acted total 27 films.

For excellent beauty, own style and handsome figure he was a heartthrob actor in Bangladesh. He was married to Samira Huq.

Before acting Salman Shah worked in several Bangla Natok ( Bengali Drama) and commercial advertisement. It was said that at last of 1980 decade,Hanif Sanket made Salman Shah to act in a music video for his magazine program ‘ Kothar Kotha’. In that music video he worked as a model. That music video got popularity among the people. But they forgot him as her irregular appearance in media. At last Salman began acting and won the mind of people again.

Salman Shah was observed on 6th September 6, 1996. He was only 25 years old when he became the King of Bangladeshi film industry and won hearts of millions.
