Buying Funeral Arrangements
Sarah and Mary left Hospice after visiting their father. Walking to the car Sarah saw the end coming sooner than later for their dad.
“The time is at hand Mary, we need to start preparing, we need to stop at the funeral home before going to Lunch.”
“We should wait until later? I feel like we’re rushing it.”
“No, we are not rushing. We need to prepare now. It is better to rush now so we don’t have to rush later.”
“Where there is breath, there is hope. We just can’t give up.”
Sarah nodded her head in agreement and didn’t want to cause her sister any stress and said, “Look we’re just checking, it won’t take long.”
“I just don’t want to think about it.”
Sarah drove straight to the funeral home and met Dave, a young salesman who presented many expensive options. After his presentation, Sarah thanked him and said, “We’ll be back.”
As they were leaving and opening the front door, they heard Dave from the office say, “Ma’am, if you don’t buy today, the price will be higher when you come back tomorrow.”
Sara did not respond, she and Mary left and went to the car.
