Have you ever?

Have you ever kissed a stranger in the dark?

She sighed, remembering the younger woman she once was. Not all that long ago.

Putting on the shinier, sparklier version of her personality.

It gave her licence to do things she never ordinarily would.

To act in ways she wouldn’t dream of.

More like a magical cape of visibility.

Wearing it, she became more visible.

She always received compliments on it; it opened up conversations.
