The mystery of Lake Natron

Lake Natron is one of the most serene and famous lakes in Africa. The lake serves as the source of some phantasmagorical photos that one can ever capture. These are some images that look as the living animals had turned instantly to stones.

The water present in the lake is so alkaline that it can burn the skin and eyes of the living animals that are not so adapted to it. Also, the alkalinity of Lake Natron is due to the presence of minerals sodium carbonate and others that flow into the lake from the environment or surroundings.

Also, according to a report it is found that living animals when coming in the contact of the lake then are turned to stones, and some even died. Moreover, it was seen that flamingos and some other beautiful birds get vanish when they come in contact with the water of Lake Natron.
