About the bodyfat — I agree. I’d guess I was around 12–13% bodyfat at my leanest. The bioimpedenace machine did show me 10% (I’ve linked the image in the article).

If you’re making gains on a vegetarian diet, good for you! I would particularly not recommend a vegetarian diet to someone who is overweight as they’re going to be consuming a lot more carbs and fat instead of protein and their insulin sensitivity/metabolism is an issue right from the get go. Vegetarian or not, as long as one is getting in enough protein in a caloric deficit, they will build muscle while loosing fat as a novice.
