Motivation is everywhere
I am writing this blog as I am on my train to Harrisburg to see my brother. This blog is about something that just happened.
I got on the train and I sat right next to a guy and he had a GRE book open on the table like thing on train.
Then I asked him, where does he plan to go to grad school. He said he wants to go to Temple University for Masters in Chemistry. His name is Andres. He is from South Mexico and this September he will be in the US for 17 years.
I told him that I’m from India and we started having a conversation. I asked him what’s the currency used in Mexico, he replied, Peso. I asked, how much is $1 in Peso, he replied around 16 Peso. I said, thats is a pretty good rate because for $1 its around 65 Indian Rupee. We were just chatting until, a lady who was sitting right in front, came to Andres and I, gave both of us a snack bar and said,
“You guys are adorable, keep working hard.”

After that she clapped a little and the lady right next to us also clapped and said,
“Keep working.”
It was a moment where some people clapped for Andres and I. Honestly I was blushing and it felt good.
That moment also made me realize that I came to United States to see something different and make a future. It was a reminder that I need to work harder towards my goals.
After that Andres and I talked and we exchanged Facebook. It was an interesting experience and I really glad that it happened.
I got off the train and I was waiting outside the station for my brother to pick me up. I saw her then too and she asked me,
“Do you have a ride?”
She was probably one of the nicest person I have met.
