Twilight of Fall

Between the ant on the wall,
And fading light of dying fall,
Found the stillness I did indeed,
That which upon my peace did feed.

As gold descended beyond line of sight,
As blues and their hues claim the light,
Inhale I did, the clean, crisp air,
That played it’s way through Her hair.

A mile beyond a mile too far gone,
Worries and dreams for the moment forgone,
Eternity felt but a moment in all,
As I watched fade the twilight of fall.
